From Michael D Buxton 14 mar 2009. He thinks Ivor was clerk of works at the barbican, and this is him there with the lord mayor.
Actually, the inscription doesn't seem to say that!

This is the foundation stone for the City of London Girls' School at the Barbican. 29 Mar 1965
Sheila and EJWilliams went to a Helmut Newton photo show at the Barbican. We wathced all these poshly-uniformed girls going to school and commented what a priviileged life they must have. Ten years later, we find that Ivor built the school!
Narrative
Gwladys's address book has an annotation by Ivor saying "Times Tuesday March 30th 1965" which is presumably where this picture came from.
